When you create an account, we store your email address and name. When you use the planner, we store your selected days off, country, and annual leave allowance so your plans sync across devices.
When you invite someone to align a specific date with you (a “shared day”), we store the invite — sender, recipient, date, and status — so both sides can see it. The counterparty’s email or name is visible to each side of a shared day, and an invite history is retained while your account is active.
When you invite someone to plan their year with you, we store the sender / recipient pair for that year so your notification inbox can show pending invites. These rows are deleted if you delete your account.
Your data is used solely to provide the DayStack service — saving your plans, syncing across sessions, and enabling features like sharing and export. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
We use essential cookies for authentication sessions and a small amount of browser storage for preferences (theme, dismissed prompts). PostHog uses cookies or local storage to identify repeat visits; Sentry stores a short-lived session identifier with each error report. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data.
Your data is kept as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time, which permanently removes all your data.
